Who we are. Trim & Truss is a free referral service and publisher of home-exterior cost guides. We are not a contractor. You can reach us through the contact form.

What we collect. If you send a request, we collect what you type: name, phone number, ZIP, the project you need, and optionally your email and details. Like most websites, our host also records technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested in server logs.

Analytics. We may use privacy-limited analytics (Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization, and Microsoft Clarity session insights with form inputs masked) to see which pages are used. These tools set cookies or similar identifiers. You can block them in your browser or with a blocker.

How we use it. To read and answer your request, and, only with the consent you give on the form, to share it with an independent local pro so they can contact you about your project. We also use it to run and improve the site and to prevent abuse.

Who gets it. Our own team, the independent pro we introduce you to (with your consent), and service providers that help us run the site, including our host and the form-delivery service that carries your request to our inbox. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Retention. We keep requests only as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable records, then delete them.

Your choices. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by using the contact form. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as California’s. To stop calls or texts from a pro, tell the pro, and tell us so we do not refer you again.

Children. This site is for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes. If we change this policy we will update the date above.
